Development of the County Nutrition Action Plans (CNAPS) for 7 Counties

FHEM assisted in the development of the 7 CNAPs, Costing, financial sustainability module, M&E and enabling environment components.

The costed CNAP is used as a resource’s mobilization tool both at the national and county level. It is particularly useful within the framework of devolution, in assisting stakeholders at the national and county level to define and articulate the direction of the county government’s broad policy on nutrition and Dietetics.

Indicating the sector priorities for allocation of resources, outlining the cost implications of national and county governments’ programmes, and determining possible sources of revenue during each fiscal year.
